Our courses are interactive, fun and very educational.  Walks n’ Wags is the longest established pet first aid training facility in Canada.  Pet lovers will earn a Certificate while they learn and practice hands on, using real dogs and mannequins in simulated emergencies, including:

·       Bleeding, broken bones and other wounds

·       Choking, CPR and Artificial Respiration

·       Learn to stabilize the injured pet, prevent further harm until professional veterinary services are reached.


Students will also learn:

·       How to recognize early signs of illness

·       How to prevent illness and injury

Upon passing the exam, students will receive a Certificate as well as 10 continuing education credits towards CCPDT and 8.5 credits for IAABC.

Upon successful completion of the course, those who are in the pet business can use the Walks n’ Wags Logo on their website and Walks n’ Wags will list your company on our website to show you have completed the course. 

This is a course designed for any pet lover, whether in the pet business or not.  The rewards of having the knowledge to perhaps prevent serious injury or to save a pet’s life are priceless.
